My work grows and evolves in the same way an urban district might- a natural and eclectic proliferation involving a gradual process of accumulation, deconstruction and adaptation. I focus on building landscape environments which contain a sense of the familiar and the unknown, juxtaposing ideas of place and no-place.

Process and materiality play a fundamental role in my practice. The methods of layering, positioning and rearranging ephemeral materials, express my concern with the temporary and forever changing nature of an environment. I endeavour to use collage as a means of assembling a landscape, with no specific result or goal. By combining found architectural and organic imagery and recycling it as a secondary process, I can realise the potential of the printed image.
